We are FHA approved.   We keep up to date on all the recent FHA changes.  FHA appraisals make up a large part of our workload.  Our fees have always been reasonable and customary for the markets that we serve, that is one of the many reasons that we serve only ten counties.  It is not possible to incur a travel and time expense to reach a distant county and still charge a fee that is reasonable and customary for that area.  The local appraiser should have the advantage, in our opinion also.  We do not add management fees. Our fee schedule is reviewed at least three times per year to make sure that we are leading the competition for reasonable and customary fees charged for our appraisal services. We have always insisted on being completely independent and we never have, nor will we, pay a fee to obtain appraisal orders.
